Bielsko - Biała (niem. Bielitz-Biala) leży na wysokości 300 – 400 m. n.p.m. u stóp trzech szczytów, które należą do granic administracyjnych miasta: Szyndzielni, Magurki i Koziej Góry. Dzielnica Bielska-Białej, Straconka czyli wschodnia część miasta sięga do stóp Beskidu Małego (do przełęczy Przegibek), natomiast południowa część – do Bramy Wilkowickiej.

The BWA Bielsko Gallery is a municipal gallery promoting the most interesting phenomena of modern art – from painting through photography, performance, installation to new media art.
It organises exhibitions, festivals and public space events, runs publishing, educational and documentary activities, collects works of art. According to its programme, the Gallery promotes painting as the field of art of everlasting and universal value, which has lately been forced on the defensive by the new media.

The Museum of Bielsko-Biała has its seat at the Sułkowskis’ Castle. The first museum was opened on 19th December 1902 on the initiative of the self-government authorities of Bielsko and the Galician Biała. The founder of the Town’s Museum was the teacher of one of the middle schools in Bielsko, Erwin Hanslik.

The Museum of Technology and Textile Industry has been operating since 1st January 1979. It was established for the documentation of the rich tradition of the local wool industry by virtue of collecting machines, equipment and documents related to that branch of manufacturing.

Julian Fałat’s Villa is an artistic and biographical museum of the artist being an external exposition of the Museum of Bielsko-Biała. The exposition is housed on the ground floor and first floor of the building and consists of the works of the artist, furniture used by him, as well as documents and photos related to the life and creation of the one of the most eminent Polish painters.

The Weaver’s House is a wooden, ground-floor building dating back to mid 18th century. It is an example of old craftsmen architecture which has completely disappeared in Bielsko. The tradition of the house in which the museum is located reaches the 18th century. Until the beginning of the 20th century the building used to be a dwelling and a workshop of a weaver. Later, it was a dwelling and a workshop of a shoemaker. After long-lasting conservation and reconstruction works, the Regional Museum in Bielsko-Biała opened the house for visitors in 1992.

Dębowiec Mountain ▸ hide details▸ show details
Dębowiec is a summit in the Beskid Śląski mountains of the height of 686 m above sea level. The clearing under the summit offers a panoramic view of Bielsko-Biała and Magurka Wilkowicka mountain. The upper part of the clearing houses a mountain shelter. At the slopes of Dębowiec there is a ski lift and in 2001 the ‘Sunny Clearing’ recreational alpine slide was provided. The slide is 410 m long and the lift 115 m long, both fully illuminated. In winter the chute is heated.

The Szyndzielnia Cableway was put into operation in December 1953. The length of the route is 1,810 m, height difference – 450 m and run time – 6 minutes. Szyndzielnia (1,028 m above sea level) is a summit in the Beskid Śląski mountains north to Klimczok, located between the valleys of Olszówka, Wapienica and Białka. Just before the summit, at the height of 1,001 m above sea level a mountain tourist shelter built in 1897 is located.

Teatr Polski (the Polish Theatre) was established in 1890. It is housed in a historic building in the centre of the town in the historic Lower Suburbs District, at 1 Maja Street.

The Banialuka Puppet Theatre is one of the oldest puppet theatres in Poland and one of the best known in Poland and abroad. It was established in 1947 by visual artists Jerzy Zitzman and Zenobiusz Zwolski.

The Town Hall was built in the years 1895–1897 in neo-Renaissance style. Earlier in that place farm animal markets used to be organised, thus, the old name of the Town Hall Square was Swine Square. The building consists of three storeys and the characteristic tower – a symbol of independent authorities. This is an over 50 m high clock tower with a viewing gallery. Today, the Town Hall building is a seat of the President of the Town, the Town Office and the Town Council.

The Art Nouveau house is located at Targowa Street. It was built around 1905 and provided with a beautiful facade imitating a post-and-beam house, bay windows over the entrances, a large tower and characteristic sculptures of two frogs over the portal.
The Lutheran Church of Martin Luther ▸ hide details▸ show details
The church was built in classical style according to the design of Breuning in the years 1782–1788. It was placed on site of a former Lutheran cemetery.
It was the first protestant church in Galicja. The furnishing of the church has been very well preserved. A real pride is the pipe organ dating back to 1848, made in the workshop of Karol Kuttler in Opava. The organ consists of 1,550 pipes and moving figures and has been deemed to be a monument of the European class.
St. Stanislaus Church ▸ hide details▸ show details
The St. Stanislaus Church in the Old Bielsko belongs to the oldest sacred monuments in Bielsko-Biała.
It was built and furnished to Gothic style in the years 1380–1390. An extremely valuable is the main altar in the chancel, in the form of a triptych, devoted to the patron saint of the church – St. Stanislaus. The wings of the altar are movable. The middle scene features Our Lady with the Child on her arm surrounded by saint bishops Nicholas and Stanislaus.
